Overview of Centre Management Portal

Centre Management Portal is an application that will help to perform/automate serveral activities that need to performed on CBSE affialiated Schools/Centres during Board Exams.
These are list of tasks that can be done by this portal.
-> Seating Plan Generation by single click.
-> Diffrent kinds of report generation.
-> Roster Prepration for CBSE Exam centres.

This portal generate login id and password for each school/centre which registerd on it. School data can be viewed after school login only. All Data is stored in encrypted form, Unauthorised Users would not be able to see any information.

CBSE School code of 5 digit is used as User ID for this portal.

These details are required for registration on portal.
-> CBSE School Code (5 digit)
-> Password (it can be choosen as per your choice)
-> Centre Name with Address
-> Centre No.
-> CBSE Incharge Name
-> Contact No.
-> Email

Consolidated Attendance List

There are two ways to upload consolidated attendance list of Portal.
a). Consolidated Attandance List in Excel Format: This option is quite lengthy as we need to copy consolidated attendance list from E-Preeksha Module and paste in Excel. Then we need to clean that data to bring in desired format.That Excel file will be uploaded in portal.
b). Consolidated Attandance List in Html Format: This option is much easier as we need to download consolidated attendance list from E-Preeksha Module. Then we need to upload both html file of class 10 & 12's consolidated attendance list in portal.

Copy Consolidated attendance list for individual class from E-Preeksha Module and Paste it into Excel. Clean the Excel data by removing extra space and bring that data to desired format. Please refer to following document that will guide to prepare consolidated attendance list.

After Preparing Excel file , Upload this file to `Upload Consolidated Attendance List (Excel format)` Link.
Note: Consolidated Attandance excel will have two sheet named as `X` and `XII`. Both Sheets should have only those subject code which are present in centre consolidated attendance list. Sample excel present on portal may have some other subject codes in Both sheets(X & XII). Make sure about these details before uploading of excel file on portal.

First, We need to open E-Preeksha Module and open consolidated attendance list of both class (10 & 12) . Then right click on consolidated attendance list , choose `save as` or press cntrl-S to save that webpage and provide name for each webpage.
By this way both classes webpages will be saved in computer.Both will be uploaded on `Upload Consolidatated Attendance List(Html Format)` link by selecting particular class.

Click on `View Consolidated Attendacne List` link on Portal. Now select class as per your choice , Your list will be shown there.

If Consolidated Attendacne List (either Excel format or Html format) is not able to upload correctly.
Kindly go to this page :
Manage Data -> Clean Consolidatated Attandance List.
And click on `Clean Consolidatated Attandance List`. Then try to upload list again. It will be uploaded.
Rooms List

Rooms list will be uploaded on portal in excel format only.
Download sammple/template excel of room list from `Upload Room List` Link.
Now add your room details in this sample/template excel file.
Upload this file to `Upload Room List` Link on Portal.

Click on `View Room List` Link on Portal for viewing of room list.

Yes, We can add or delete an individual room after uploading of room list.
Click on `Add or Delete Room` Link on portal. Here, Options are available to add or delete room.
Exam Schedule

It is schedule of Exam that is automatically generate based on subject codes available in your center's consolidated attendance list.

Yes, This exam schedule is related to center who is logged in portal. As this in automatically generate based on subject codes available in Consolidated Attandance List of your center.

If your consolidated Attendance list is not uploaded or having any issue, it would not show exam schedule.
Kindly make sure consolidated attendancelist is uploaded successfully. And verify that list in `View Consolidatated Attendacne List` page.
Generate Seating Plan

Seating plan will be generate by following given below steps,
a) Select `date` for which you want to generate seating plan. Dates shown in dropdown list are fetched from exam schedule of your exam center.
b) Once date is selelcted, it will show list of exam which are scheduled on selected date.Now tick your exam for which you want generate seating plan.
c) Now select `no. of students per room` to be seated. It will be 12,18 and 24 as per specific Genenrate seating plan link.
d) Now choose `students desk structure for Room`:
It is having options like
7-5-5-5
6-6-6-6 etc.
Row-wise number of desk.
e) Now select `Split seating arrangement by` as per your center requirement.
Here dropdown list is of multiple options.
i)No Spliting (Default): No Splitig of students will occur in Seating Plan. Both Class(X& XII) students will placed in continuation.
ii)Class : This option will be selected if you want to put student of different class into separate rooms.
iii)Class & Subject : If you want to put student of different subject in separate room.
f) Now Select rooms from rooms list and add them to another room list by click on Add Room.
e) Last step, Now Click on generate seating plan.

This option is used to break seating in different room incase different class exam or different subject exam are scheduled.
This listbox have 3 option.
1) No Spliting (Default)
2) Class
3) Class & Subject

Lets understand this with an example :
Exam is scheduled for Class X : Subject 087 and Class XII : subject 002.
If No Spliting option is selected , it will generate seating by putting Class X student and Class XII students in same room.

Exam is scheduled for Class X : Subject 402 and Class XII : subject 002.
If class option is selected , it will genrate seating by putting Class X student and Class XII students in different rooms.

Lets have one more example :
Exam is scheduled for Class X : Subject 041 and Class X : subject 241.
We want to put student of same class and different subject in seperate room.
This can be acheived after selecting Class & Subject option .

It means , You have not uploaded room list in Room List section. Please check first in `view room list` page of Room List Section.

Order in which rooms are added in Room List on Seating Plan Page , will be used for seating plan.
Eg. Suppose you added Room No 101,102,103 in this order. Then room No 101 will be used first. and so on.
Manage Data

Go to Manage Data -> Clean Room List. This option will delete all your room list from database.

Go to Manage Data -> Clean consolidated Attendance List. This option will delete both class( X & XII ) consolidated Attendance List from database.
General Section / Profile

Go to Profile -> Here three Tabs are available, Go to Edit Profile Tab. Here you can change your Centre No and Centre Name.

Go to Profile -> Here three Tabs are available, Go to Edit Profile Tab. Here you can change your CBSE Incharge Name, Contact No and Email.
